Lara Samuels has worked in marketing and communications for over 12 years. Moving from a global advertising agency to Government and then the charity sector, Lara’s passion for her field of work led her to set up her own consultancy. Lara works largely with the public and not-for-profit sectors, but also with a range of private sector clients. Lara has worked on many high-profile campaigns, including anti-smoking and 5 A DAY for the Department of Health, Volunteering for All for Media Trust, and charity Dogs Trust. As well as these large campaigns, Lara uses her experience to help smaller organisations gain impact without the need for big budgets. Her recent clients have covered areas such as international development, mental health, youth issues , healthcare, sports and professional services.
Lara focuses on helping organisations to think more commercially about their marketing, to ensure that they survive into the future and reach their business objectives. This includes developing strong marketing strategies based on target audience insight, as well as putting plans into action, and training organisations to become self-sufficient in marketing techniques.
